GA Chattahoochee APMP Member Appreciation Event

Proposal professionals have a well deserved reputation for putting in long hours on the job, usually unrecognized and under-appreciated by management and the sales organization.
The Georgia Chattahoochee APMP chapter believes that if no one else will, at least we can appreciate ourselves. This was true last year and is no less true in 2010.
In the conviction that all work and no play are unhealthy, the chapter has planned another opportunity for its members to enjoy fresh air and cheering on the home team in the relaxing and invigorating company of cheerful proposal professionals. APMP members are invited to join us for chopping and chanting at Turner Field as the Braves take on the Dodgers on Saturday evening, August 14.
The chapter has purchased a block of $15 tickets for this game in the upper deck behind home plate (Section 403). We are offering APMP members one free ticket and the chance to purchase two additional tickets for $5.00 each—an exceptional value.
The chapter will also provide a chance for attendees to win one of several nice door prizes.
We will meet at the stadium before the game and distribute the tickets. An email with details about when and where will be sent to each registrant.
Bring your Tomahawk and join us at the Ball Game on August 14!
Finally, a request... Please be sure that you can attend the game before reserving tickets. "No shows" will be asked to reimburse the chapter for the full cost of unused tickets ($15 per ticket). We want a good crowd, but we want to make sure all of the tickets are used. Thanks!!

Annual Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC)
Early Bird and Exhibitor Registration Site Now Open
The SPAC registration site is now open for Early Bird registration. Registration fees are the same as in 2009:
· APMP Member Early Bird Registration – $150
· Non-APMP Member Early Bird Registration – $180
Early Bird registration rates are available through August 31, after which each rate will increase by $30. Exhibitors can also access the registration page to register as a SPAC Platinum, Gold, or regular sponsor.

SPAC Call for Presenters ***Extended*** SPAC Call for Exhibitors
The SPAC Call for Presenters has been extended through July 31, 2010. We have had a strong response to the Call but would like a few more candidates to help fill out the line-up. Presenters will be announced beginning in mid-August.
Our next chapter dinner/meeting to be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

2009 SPAC Recognized at APMP Annual Conference

At the recent APMP International Conference in Orlando, the Carolinas, Georgia Chattahoochee, and Florida Sunshine chapters received the APMP Special Event award for the 2009 Southern Proposal Accents Conference. This award recognizes the continued success of the SPAC as a regional learning and networking event for proposal professionals. Congratulations to all of the 2009 SPAC committee members! |
