Meetings for the Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter are normally scheduled for the second Wednesday of every other month.

Donna Shaw is the owner of Franchise Mart in Vinings. Donna's broad experience in business consulting and corporate environments is a great match for proposal professionals in today's changing job market. Donna helps business professionals define their unique talents, skills, and expertise to outshine the competition and think ahead about creative options. Donna will present tips on:

Using her 15+ years in the corporate telecom environment, both domestically and internationally, Donna interlaces her business leadership and financial management skills with her human resource training and development to offer practical and successful business concepts relevant today and tomorrow.

Ms. Shaw is an accomplished, certified trainer on numerous topics including: small business development, visioning and goal setting, customer service, leadership development, and team building. Meeting Details

This APMP dinner meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Powers Ferry, located just inside I-285 in the northwest part of Atlanta, at the intersection of I-285 and New Northside Drive/Powers Ferry Road. Join us around 6:00 p.m. ET for networking with fellow proposal professionals and enjoy a buffet dinner served around 6:45. The dinner entrée is linguini with shrimp accompanied by asparagus, broccoli, and tomato in a roasted garlic cream sauce. The program and door prize drawings will follow, and the meeting will adjourn at 9:00 p.m.

For Your Calendar

The APMP Annual Conference is scheduled for June 1-4 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel in Orlando. There will be speakers from our chapter as well as our sister southeast APMP chapters, so start thinking about your plans to attend the annual conference.

The 14th Annual Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC) is scheduled for Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Cobb Galleria Conference Centre. The SPAC will again be co-hosted by the Georgia Chattahoochee, Carolina, and Florida Sunshine APMP chapters. We will begin planning soon for this year’s conference and welcome the support of all chapter members in this effort. Stay tuned for announcements and volunteer opportunities.
