How long have you been a proposal manager/specialist/writer?

Joani: Six months

How did you become involved
 with proposals?

Joani: I’ve been a technical writer for almost 20 years. I started working proposals about six years ago as a section writer and, over the years, have served as writer and editor to many proposal efforts. I’ve recently been hired by SAIC to focus primarily on proposal coordination.

Do you work in a “corporate office” or “home office” environment? 

Joani: Corporate

What do you like best about working in your current environment? 

Face to face interactions. I work with great people!

What do you like least?

I don’t have any disagreeable aspects to my work environment. Maybe once I start traveling!
