1. Michelle Norman
· This year's board meetings will be held on off-month of our chapter dinner meetings, every second Wednesday at 1:00- 2:00 p.m., April 11, June 13, August 8, and November 14.
2. Sandy Luttrell
· Awards Nomination: Submitted a membership award nomination for the chapter, and the SPAC committee submitted an award nomination for SPAC.
· Chapter Banner - Proposed a new chapter banner - 33” wide 5’8 tall with stand to purchase and be used for visibility, membership benefits, and APMP education purposes at all future events, including SPAC
o Cost is estimated at $199, excluding tax
o Sandy will send email recommended text for the board to provide input
o Board suggested to use our logo colors, no clip art, and no people
· Chapter Website:
o Updated with presentations, next meeting info, virtual room info, and membership photos
o APMP/national website has been updated as well
o SPAC presentation are available on the site
o Sandy Luttrell will update job page with LinkedIn for the job postings and APMP's national job bank, when available
1. Michelle Norman – President
· Open Chair positions: Vice Chair, Secretary, Webmaster, Publicity, and Programs
- Discussion of recruitment for these positions
2. Sandy Luttrell – Membership
· Membership
- 123 active members
- As of Jan 5th, people to renew membership (not heard from 3 of those folks)
- Michelle to follow-up with Cathy Valerio and Merika Wright
- Jim Keifer wants to stay active with the chapter
· SPAC 2012 – Hyatt Regency Downtown, Atlanta
- Public parking $11 plus MARTA accessibly
3. Keith Propst – Promotions and Treasury
· Transitioning into the Treasury role and will contact Jim to obtain all treasury material and equipment to proceed forward
- Will handle promotion function until this position can be filled
· GA Board Members agreed to opening a new account at SunTrust bank
· Keith Propst, as the chapter Treasurer, will proceed with opening a new bank account with SunTrust. The board agreed that along with Keith, Michelle Norman – Chapter Chair and Sandy Luttrell – Membership Chair will be authorized signers for the account.
- Michelle Norman, Sandy Luttrell, and Keith Propst will meet early next week at a specific location to open the account
· Need to pay off SPAC and LaBrita Cash for Gift Cards from last meeting used for the January chapter dinner meeting
· Possible profit for each chapter for SPAC 2011 will be around $1,800 dollars, could be less
4. Joni Charron – Job Postings
· Currently five posting on the website
· activity over the last couple of months – no current updates
5. Lauri Erenstoft and LaBrita Cash – Programs
· Current schedule of programs
- Feb – Virtual meeting – 7 way to win your proposals
March – Mitch Reed – Rapid Proposal Response
April – Sandy Luttrell – Kickoff calls with a kick
May – Panel Discussion – Effective Executive Summaries

· Will look into piggy backing off other chapter’s virtual meetings
· Sandy is doing a virtual meeting for the FL chapter in March
· Possible virtual meeting with Mike Parkinson
· Concerns made in regards to the presenter for March – LaBrita and Lauri will be providing overall guidance
- Lauri discussed Twitter and LinkedIn, looking into setting up a GA page
· Membership Appreciation for 2012
- Be thinking about what we want to do; possible Ideas: luggage tags, flash drives, d-rings, etc.
6. Kathleen McCollum – Education
· Contact Beth Wingate of NCA to understand their educational effort
· Copy Rick Harris per additional emails to Charlie Divine as I’m not receive a response in a timely manner
· Discussion of practitioner workshop for SPAC 2012
· Kathleen McCollum – asked the board members what would you all like to see the GA chapter do in regards to education
- Knowledge Base on national site (Train-the-Trainer), usage, resources, and digestion with commercial elements
- Engage members to contribute to APMP: articles, perspective magazine, membership, personal levels, etc.
- Contact Robin Davis to understand where APMP, as an organization, is going in the commercial market with accreditation, presenters, etc.
